Jidian (Chinese PinYin for Gideon) is from Chengdu city in Sichuan Province of China and has lived in the U. S. since 1992.  He graduated from Fudan University with a BS degree in 1986 and from the University of Alabama with an MS degree in 1995, both in chemistry.  He was a scientist and technical manager from 1995 to 2011.  Since 2011 he has worked for a Christian media ministry that publishes magazines and builds websites in Chinese language. He is the author of Responses to Skepticism About Christian Faith on the Chinese Web and has written on the Chinese Internet since 1995.
